Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mirage, developed by Ethan Lipnik ("we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Mirage, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Mirage on Apple devices you own or control. Your use must also follow the applicable App Store terms.

2. Mirage Pro Purchases and Subscriptions

Some features require a Mirage Pro subscription or lifetime purchase. Apple processes all purchases, billing, cancellations, and refunds. The price, billing period, trial, offer, and eligibility shown by Apple when you confirm a purchase apply to that transaction.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel them through your Apple Account settings. Access may end when a subscription expires or when Apple refunds or revokes a purchase.

The free version of Mirage has limits described in the app, including limits on resolution, frame rate, encryption, and feature access.

3. Referral Program

Mirage may offer optional referral links, free subscription periods, offer codes, or credits. The eligibility, expiration, limit, and redemption terms shown in Mirage or by Apple apply.

Rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred outside the intended referral process, and are not final until accepted by Apple. A reward or credit may be denied or reversed if a purchase is refunded or revoked, the participant is ineligible, or the program is abused.

We may pause, change, or end the referral program. We will use reasonable efforts to honor valid rewards that were already issued, subject to their original terms, Apple's availability, and applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Mirage only for lawful purposes. You may not:

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information Mirage handles and the choices available to you.

6. Support and Online Services

Mirage offers private in-app support tickets with conversations, attachments, notifications, and links to fixes. We provide support on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not promise a response time or a solution.

You are responsible for what you submit and must have the right to share it. Do not send passwords, payment information, unlawful material, someone else's confidential information, or unrelated personal data.

You allow us and our service providers to store and review submitted material only as needed to provide support, investigate the issue, protect Mirage, and improve the product. Identity providers authenticate authorized support team members but do not replace Mirage's ticket access controls. Do not share a ticket's private access link or attempt to open another person's ticket.

Mirage's support, purchase, referral, analytics, notification, and release services are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent storage, notification delivery, referral eligibility, or that a reported issue will be fixed in a release.

7. Intellectual Property

Mirage, its software, trademarks, logos, and content belong to Ethan Lipnik or the applicable rights holder. These Terms do not give you ownership of Mirage or permission to use its branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mirage is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or free of security issues. Streaming quality depends on your network, devices, and other factors outside our control. These Terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethan Lipnik is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Mirage. Our total liability for a claim related to Mirage will not exceed what you paid for Mirage in the 12 months before the claim. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

You may stop using Mirage at any time. We may suspend or end access to online services if you violate these Terms, abuse the services, create a security risk, or if required by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Mirage changes. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they apply where required. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated Terms except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, except where mandatory laws in your country apply instead.

13. Contact

Mirage is offered by Ethan Lipnik under the FauxFox name. For questions about these Terms, open Mirage and submit a private ticket from My Support Tickets, or email [email protected]. See Mirage Support for instructions.
